Gas Leak Contained: El Capitan, Crow Canyon Reopen

A leak at Crow Canyon and El Capitan Drive closed down portions of both roads Tuesday morning.

El Capitan Drive was closed from Crow Canyon Road and Silver Lake Drive, while Crow Canyon Road is also closed in both directions between Alcosta Boulevard and St. George Road in San Ramon.

DANVILLE, CA —El Capitan Drive reopened after being closed from Crow Canyon Road and Silver Lake Drive due to a gas leak, Danville police said Tuesday at 10:32 am. The leak has been contained, police said.

Nearby, Crow Canyon Road is also reopened after being closed in both directions between Alcosta Boulevard and St. George Road. The gas leak was situated north of Crow Canyon Road on El Capitan Drive, police said.
