Holidays In The Valley Displays History Of San Ramon Valley Holidays

Explore model trains, decorated trees, write letters to Santa, and much more at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley.

DANVILLE, CA — The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is hosting its annual “Holidays in the Valley” exhibition devoted to local holiday traditions.

The exhibition, which is open until Jan. 8, includes a large decorated tree, a large model train set, a selection of classic toys, a playhouse and station to write letters to Santa Claus, and more. Another display presents a history of Carmine DeVivi, the first Santa Claus to preside over the Lighting of the Old Oak Tree.

The museum is open 1 -4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, and 12-3 p.m. on Sunday. For more information on this and other exhibits, visit museumsrv.org.
