A Danville resident said his home has been burglarized numerous times, including three times in the night.

A Danville family has been burglarized multiple times, including while they were sleeping, in their California Meadow home since mid-December, Danville police confirmed.

A flier the victim made shows a picture of the suspected burglar inside his home. The photo is dated Feb. 4, with the suspect entering the home at 9:08 a.m. and appearing to leave at 9:58 a.m.

In an email, the victim said:

"On three occasions it has happened at night while we were home asleep. Mostly cash was taken; it was taken out of our wallets while we slept, but he also took our son’s piggy bank. And he took some electronics. On February 4, he was in our home for nearly an hour. He had stolen a house key on a prior visit and used it to access our home at will. After gaining entry he opened an upstairs window slightly so he could listen for approaching cars. Since then we discovered every window in our house had been unlocked to provide possible future access."

If you have information in this case or others in the California Meadows development, call Detective Perry at the Danville Police Department at 925-314-3710.
