Hot Summer Sundays Car Show To Close Streets In Danville

A number of streets will be closed Aug. 21 so spectators can enjoy an astounding array of vintage cars.

DANVILLE, CA — The cars are back in town. On Sunday, Aug. 21, Danville will host its 24th annual Hot Summer Sundays Car Show, when lovingly restored antique and classic cars are parked along Front Street.

While you gawk at the cars and fight the urge to get inside and drive away, you can also enjoy live music, vendor booths, and awards.

The car show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 21. The following closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

  • Local traffic between Front Street and Rose Street on Diablo Road
  • Front Street North to Linda Mesa Avenue

Free parking is available in all municipal parking lots surrounding the show.
