Inaugural Downtown Danville Turkey Dash Will Benefit Charity
All participants to finish will receive a gift bag and the opportunity to donate to the Glide Foundation shelter in San Francisco.
DANVILLE, CA — East Bay residents are invited to the Danville Youth Council’s first-ever Turkey Dash. The inaugural event, which involves a scavenger hunt at many downtown Danville businesses, will benefit the the Glide Foundation shelter in San Francisco.
Turkey dashers can pick up their first clue at the Danville Senior Center on Nov. 19 between 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“The first ten participants to finish will receive a Danville gift card and the value of a turkey donated in their name to Glide,” town officials said in a statement.

The Danville Senior Center is located at 115 E. Prospect Avenue.
