We will be outside Safeway stores in Alamo, Blackhawk, San Ramon and Dougherty Valley from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, 21st November, collecting $10 for each grocery bag provided by Safeway. These will be delivered to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano counties located in Concord. Our goal is to help fill all local food banks so that no child or family will need to go hungry this holiday season.
Additionally, we will be contributing $3,500 directly to purchase even more groceries.

Karl Schroeder, president of Safeway’s Northern California Division adds ”We are proud to be partnering with our area food banks and these important volunteer organizations on this community-wide collection effort,”
