Knights of Columbus #9206 11th Golf and Dinner Fundraiser Gala

THE 11TH ANNUAL KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

The St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus Council #9206 announced the 11th Annual Golf and Dinner Fundraiser Gala for August 22, 2016 at the Crow Canyon Country Club in San Ramon. All proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Mary's Center of Oakland, Shepherd's Gate and The Valley Pregnancy Center.

Held at the prestigious Crow Canyon Country Club, the event will be limited to 30 four-person teams. Participants will be able to enjoy the pre-golf contests: chipping, putting and splash contests, a great BBQ lunch, goodie bags, adult and non-adult beverages and a great Prime Rib dinner complete with raffles and prizes. Sponsor prizes include a Hole-in-One Prize for a 2016 BMW 328i from Concord BMW. "The atmosphere at this event will be exciting," said Chairperson Michael Fernandez. "What better way to spend a Monday afternoon with great food and great camaraderie. No matter your level, all the golfers will have a blast and their contributions will benefit great local charities".

Event sponsors committed to the event to date include K101.7 Radio, the Steve Wilcox Foundation and Keeco. One of our great local breweries will also be our Beverage Sponsor. Grand Knight Ron Susa quoted golf legend Gary Player in saying 'Golf is a puzzle without an answer. I've played the game for 50 years and I still haven't the slightest idea of how to play.' Ron said as Knights "Many of our efforts is to provide resources and guidance for those in need so they can get professional care needed to better navigate the daily puzzles of life. As Knights, there are many activities that support St. Joan of Arc and related charities that are only known in the hearts of those that contribute but here is an event that allows us to share the joy we have in contributing to worthy charities for the community we serve. Our goal is help individuals rebuild life just as you would a puzzle. Piece by Piece."
