We launched our new twice-daily column About Town, by Danville writer and mom, Kirsten Branch. This column is featured once in the morning and then again later in the afternoon. . Patch Sports Editor, Kyle Bonagura, reports that Kline received and accepted a verbal offer from University of California, Berkeley, head coach Jeff Tedford last weekend.

In other high school football news, San Ramon Valley High took the win against Antioch, for the second win of the season. Monte Vista bounced back from a loss last week, defeating Pitssburg, for their first win of the season.
