Lincoln's Living Legacy: Solitude Service and Sacrifice, Opening Address by Justice George Nicholson, March 17 at 7:00pm SRVHS Performing Arts Center
Special event to open the Museum of the San Ramon Valley's next exhibit: Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War which opens on March 19
Justice Nicholson was personally requested by California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye to open the exhibit.
He has a warm heart for Lincoln and on behalf of the Third Court of Appeals created an exhibit shown at the California State Fair and now on permanent display in the Robert Matsui Courthouse in Sacramento called “Let Freedom Ring”. He will bring a smaller version of it to display in the lobby of the Performing Art Center and the Museum will show its “Conversation with Abraham Lincoln” as part of our exhibit. The Performing Arts Center is located at 501 Danville Blvd., Danville. Admission is free.
