Beginning August 27, 2015, the Town of Danville presents Three of Us, an Acoustic tribute to the Beatles.

The music continues September 24, 2015, with South City Blues Band.

The South City Blues Band is dedicated to the groove, providing a unique blend of swinging Jump Blues, Jazz/Funk Blues, and “old-school” R&B. Whatever you call it, their music will get you up and moving. Playing a variety of styles to keep it interesting, and with a rhythm section keeping it in the pocket, they never stray far from the source of their musical inspiration - the blues! Between the cutting vocals, ripping guitar lines, wailing sax, and swinging rhythm, The South City Blues Band won’t let up.

The music portion of the program concludes October 29, 2015, with Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums.

Among the first neo-swing bands to modernize and re-invent the jump swing genre while staying true to their musical roots, the group is led by the mischievous Steve Lucky on piano and vocals and the vivacious Miss Carmen Getit on lead guitar and vocals. The band’s chemistry is hot enough to melt metal. They are an amazing band with a swinging horn and rhythm section that can’t be beat.

Tickets for the music series are only $10 presale and $15 at the door. Beer and wine available for purchase courtesy of Norm’s Place, 356 Hartz Avenue. Visit Norm’s prior to the show and receive a free appetizer with purchase of an adult beverage and confirmation of ticket purchase. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30pm.
