San Ramon Valley High boys' team loses to Miramonte in North Coast title game
Both the boys and girls teams from Las Lomas High as well as the San Ramon Valley High girls' team won North Coast Section water polo championships today.
The biggest upset was in the Boys Division I tournament played at Acalanes High School in Lafayette.
In that match, second seeded Miramonte High defeated top seeded San Ramon Valley High, 8-7, in overtime.

The loss was only the second defeat all season for San Ramon Valley. They finished the season 25-2 while Miramonte ends up 21-6.
In the girls' Division I game, San Ramon Valley scored an upset, defeating the top seed, Monte Vista High, 5-4 in double overtime.

San Ramon Valley finishes the season at 18-9 while Monte Vista ends with a 19-8 record.
The Division II finals were played at the Soda Athletic Center at Campolindo High School in Moraga.
In the girls' competition, top seeded Las Lomas (25-3) dunked second seeded Campolindo (20-6) by a score of 10-5.
In the boys' competition, second seeded Las Lomas (18-11) dumped top seed Alhambra High (21-6) by a score of 11-10.
