Local Teen Selected to Play for Team USA in International Bowl
Rob Funkhouser will play running back for the team.

Rob Funkhouser was recently selected to play for Team USA and represent our country against Team Canada in the International Bowl at AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) on January 31, 2015.
Rob is a freshman at San Ramon Valley High School in Danville and plays wide receiver and free safety for the Wolves, who are currently 7-1 (and undefeated in league play).
Prior to being selected, Rob had to compete at a Bay Area Regional Development camp, where he earned an invitation to the USA Football National Development Camp at Fawcett Stadium (Pro Football Hall of Fame) in Canton, OH. Based on his performances at these USA Football camps and live games, Rob was selected to play running back and represent the USA in the International Bowl in January.

This is a tremendous honor for Rob and our family, as only the top players in the country are invited to participate on the USA Football National Team. Several of the top college/NFL players, including the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston, are former USA Football players.
