The Tri-Valley Relay for Life event will be this Sat, June 22 at Granada High School in Livermore. Luminaria are decorated, lighted bags in honor of cancer survivors, in memory of those who lost the battle, as well as those still fighting the battle.

Friends and family can order a luminaria bag, and it will be decorated and placed around the track for the luminaria event at www.RelayForLife.org/TriValleyCA or come to the event and decorate it themselves.

The Luminaria Ceremony takes place after dark, to remember those we have lost to cancer, honor those who fought cancer, and support those whose fight continues. Candles are lit inside of personalized bags and are placed around the Relay track as glowing tributes to those who’ve been affected by cancer.
