Man Arrested After Fleeing From Danville Officers, Police Say

A Concord man was arrested in connection with a stolen car case in Livermore, police said.

DANVILLE, CA — A Concord man was arrested Thursday in Danville after he and another man after fled police, who discovered a stolen car at the gas station, police said.

Michael Nevis, 29, was arrested by Livermore police on suspicion of stolen property, in connection with a Livermore car theft case, police said. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

Danville police received a suspicious vehicle complaint at the Hartz Avenue Extra Mile gas station. Officers arrived and Nevis and another man fled, police said.

Officers searched the area and arrested Nevis, but police are still looking for the pictured man.
