Massage Therapist With Contra Costa Ties Accused Of Sexual Assault
Peninsula authorities said the man previously worked as a massage therapist in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Diego counties.

MILLBRAE, CA — An East Bay arrested Thursday is accused of sexually assaulting a woman last month during a session at a Peninsula spa.
According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, a woman contacted authorities on Dec. 22 to report that she was assaulted during a therapy session at a business on Broadway in Millbrae.
Investigators said the victim told deputies she suffered unwanted inappropriate and sexual touching by a male therapist, who authorities later identified as Guosheng Chen, 47, of Hayward.

Deputies secured an arrest warrant for Chen and worked with authorities in Hayward to arrest him Thursday. He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on suspicion of multiple sex crimes, including sexual battery involving an unconscious person.
The sheriff's office said Chen had worked as a massage therapist elsewhere in San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa and San Diego counties. Investigators believe there could be more unidentified victims and ask anyone with information about unreported crimes to contact detectives at 650-363-4060.

According to jail records, Chen is being held in lieu of $400,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
