Danville National Night Out Registration Deadline Approaching
The deadline to register block parties for National Night Out on Aug. 1 is fast approaching.
DANVILLE, CA — On Aug. 1, the town will participate in the annual National Night Out, an event designed to promote civic pride and take a stance against drugs and crime.
Residents are invited to lock their doors, turn their porch lights on, and create and register events, from parades to potluck dinners to cookouts to contests to neighborhood walks and more.
On Tuesday, the Town Council presented organizer Lindsay Ortiz with a proclamation declaring Aug. 1 “National Night Out.”

“It is essential that all neighbors of Danville come together with police and work together to build a safer, more caring community,” the proclamation reads.
