Oak Hill Park Playground Renovations Begin

DANVILLE, CA — The play area at Oak Hill Park will close the first week in March to accommodate construction of a new play area, the Town of Danville announced.

The renovation is part of the 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program, and it is set to be complete by the summer. The project includes replacement of aging playground equipment to the latest amenities to the community, the town said. It will include areas for children aged 2-5 and 5-12, including an updated sandpit, musical interaction area, a sensory play station, and accessible components. Some new playground features will be the first of their kind in Danville.
