Parolee, Companion Arrested For Possessing Stolen Car, Drug Charges Following Foot Pursuit: Police
The Automated License Plate Reader camera system alerted Danville officers to the allegedly stolen car.

DANVILLE, CA — A duo believed to be associated with a stolen car were arrested Monday afternoon in Danville, police officials said. The Automated License Plate Reader camera system alerted officers to a stolen Nissan Sentra, which was parked in the Railroad Avenue parking lot.
Police said when a man and a woman returned to the parked car, officers tried to contact the pair, prompting the male suspect to flee on foot. After a short foot chase, Martinez resident John Fouhey, 35, was arrested. Courtney Hall, 20, of Pleasant Hill was arrested without incident.
Fouhey was booked on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of personal identifying information, resisting arrest and a parole hold. Hall was booked on suspicion of possessing of stolen property, possession of personal identifying information, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Both were booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
