PG&E Power Outage, School Schedule For Tuesday: Danville

Although many customers are expected to lose power Tuesday, there are no additional planned outages in the San Ramon/Danville area.

DANVILLE, CA — Power in the city of San Ramon was fully restored as of Monday night following a PG&E Public Safety Planned Shutdown that began over the weekend. The Town of Danville still has a few areas out of power due to damaged lines from Sunday’s extreme winds, but repairs should be completed by 6 p.m. Tuesday, the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District said.

Although many customers are expected to lose power Tuesday, there are no additional planned outages in the San Ramon/Danville area, the SRVFPD said.

All San Ramon Valley Unified School District campuses will be open Tuesday.

PG&E warns that approximately 605,000 ratepayers in Northern California will lose power Tuesday, including customers in the following counties: Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Humboldt, Kern, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Tehama, Trinity, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba.

The planned outage is expected to last through Wednesday.

PG&E customers are urged to use the PG&E Address Lookup tool at https://psps.ss.pge.com to check a specific address for potential outage.

All East Bay regional parks and trails will be closed through Thursday at 9 a.m. due to ongoing weather and fire dangers, parks officials said.
