Power Outage Strikes Danville

The cause of the outage remains under investigation.

DANVILLE, CA — A power outage struck Danville Wednesday afternoon, leaving more than 1,000 in the dark at one point, police said.

The outage likely followed a fallen power pole in the Adair Court area, Danville police said in an email.

By 2:10 p.m., PG&E said six were affected by the outage. PG&E said it hopes to restore power by 3:45 p.m.
