They've teamed up with local restaurant powerhouse guru Wes Aziz, who will be running the show as Operating Partner. The Jhanda family—deeply rooted in the Danville community—is stepping in with one goal: keep everything locals love about Primos, while breathing in new life where it counts. Think: the same welcoming vibe, comfort classics on the menu, plus a few fresh twists and surprises coming soon. "Primos is legendary in Danville and has a great soul," said Jimmy Jhanda. "We're not here to change that—we're here to protect it, refresh it, and make sure it's still around for the next 50 years." Jhanda sold and exited his wildly successful tech staffing franchise 12 months ago and retired. Conquering College 101 helps students build the executive functioning, study, and life skills needed to thrive academically, socially, and independently during their first year.
Students learn practical strategies for:
<ul><li>Managing schedules and deadlines</li><li>Studying efficiently and preparing for exams</li><li>Taking effective notes and reading actively</li><li>Self-advocacy and communicating with professors</li><li>Building routines that support long-term success</li></ul>

Middle school is an exciting milestone, but it’s also one of the biggest transitions students experience. Suddenly, they’re expected to manage multiple teachers, keep track of assignments across classes, stay organized, plan ahead, and take on more independence.
The challenge is that many students don’t realize they’re missing these skills until they’re already feeling overwhelmed. At SOS4Students, we’ve worked with countless middle school students who came to us after struggling with these new expectations. We saw the same patterns again and again, which is why we created Mastering Middle School.
This summer workshop helps rising middle schoolers build the executive functioning skills they’ll need before the school year begins. During the intensive session on August 1–2 at Orinda Academy, students will learn practical strategies for:
• Organization and managing materials • Time management and task management • Homework routines and study strategies • Effective note-taking • Self-advocacy and communicating with teachers • Navigating the increased independence of middle school
Students will also have the opportunity to return for a follow-up session on September 12 to reinforce skills and prepare for a successful transition into the school year.
Give your student the tools to start middle school feeling prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.
