Renowned Chef Alison Negrin to Give Cooking Demonstration at The Reutlinger Community
Chef Alison Negrin will demonstrate something brand new and special at The Reutlinger on Sunday, May 17 at 4 PM.

As an Executive Chef, and having worked at such noted Bay Area restaurants as Chez Panisse, Bridges and Ginger Island, Alison Negrin has seen some of the summits of the commercial food service world. In her role as Executive Chef for John Muir Health System (JMH), Negrin was responsible for both patient and cafeteria menus for the three hospital campuses. She currently sits on chef panels that create new products for national food corporations. She also manages her consulting business.
Alison was honored with accepting two awards at 2012 HCWH Food Med conference for JMH’s accomplishments with reducing greenhouse gases through sustainable purchasing. She was the recipient of the Women Who Inspire 2013 Community Service award from the national organization Women Chefs and Restauranteurs recognizing her work in bringing healthy and sustainably sourced food to healthcare.
Alison graduated from UC Berkeley with a BFA in fine arts, California Culinary Academy as a professional chef, and the Bauman Institute of Holistic Nutrition with a certificate in nutrition consulting. She has completed various certificate programs at Cornell University and the Culinary Institute.
