'Romantic Expressions in Pastel' Exhibit to Open in Danville Next Week
Town of Danville partners with Visit Tri-Valley to present local artists

Romantic Expressions in Pastel, a new exhibit featuring five award-winning Bay Area pastel artists, launches in next week with an evening of events at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery, 233 Front St.
The exhibit, curated by local artist Debbie Wardrope, is the first in a series of events presented by Visit Tri-Valley in conjunction with its annualRomance in the Tri-Valley event.
The Opening Reception will take place on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will feature live music by local harpist Larisa Smirnova. The exhibit will run through February 28, 2015.

Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and viewers will have the opportunity to purchase original artwork.
The Village Theatre and Art Gallery is open to visitors Wednesday through Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday by appointment only. The Art Gallery is closed on Sundays. Admission is free, and donations are accepted.
