Rotary Club of Alamo to Host Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day

The Rotary Club of Alamo's Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day will be held at Livotna Park on Saturday, April 15.

From the Rotary Club of Alamo: The Rotary Club of Alamo will sponsor the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Livorna Park. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. with games and music and end at 11:00 a.m. Last year, over 800 children participated, so this year there will be over 6,000 eggs that will be hidden for the children to find.

In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt and a visit by the Easter Bunny, where parents will have an opportunity to take photos, there will also be children’s carnival games, two balloon persons; face painting provided by the Monte Vista High School Interact Club, which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Alamo, and other fun activities. In addition, there will be live music provided by The East Bay Banjo Club, along with coffee, chocolate milk, water and donuts for sale. The Alamo Elementary School Chorus will also perform. The actual Easter Egg Hunt will take place this year at 10:00 a.m. sharp. The egg hunt will be split in to three age groups. One for children three years of age and under (3-0); another for children ages four to seven (4-7); and finally for children ages eight to ten (8-10). In past years the Easter Egg Hunt would start promptly at the assigned time and was finished in less than five minutes. Parents should allow ample time for their children to be on time to participate.
