San Ramon Valley Defeats Foothill for Volleyball Title
The Wolves' girls team upset the top seeded Falcons for the NCS title
San Ramon Valley High's girls volleyball team upset top seeded Foothill High last weekend to win the North Coast Section Division I volleyball title.
The second-seeded Wolves lost the first game of the championship set, 25-13. However, they came storming back to win the next three games, 25-19, 25-18 and 25-17.
San Ramon Valley defeated Heritage High to make it to the finals. Foothill defeated Monte Vista High to reach the finals.

San Ramon Valley is now 34-8 on the season. Foothill is 29-9.
Next up is the state semi-finals on Nov. 29 and the state championships on Dec. 3.
