Several Danville Residents Complete Boston Marathon

On a day that Kenya's Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot set the Boston Marathon record with a time of two hours, five minutes, eight Danville residents also completed the 26.2-mile race.

Colllin Anderson, 19, turned in the fasted time of the day, 3:01:28, which equates to less than seven minutes per mile.

The top female finisher was 50-year old Rosaura Tennant, who finished in a remarkable 3:23:46.

Other participants included Jon Kalln, Wener Goertz, Elizabeth Harvey, Joy Chau, 64-year old Dianne Anderson and Lesli Gee.
