Softball: Monte Vista on the Road to Start NCS Playoffs
Mustangs play at Castro Valley on Wednesday
After a 13-11 regular season, the Monte Vista softball team was given the No. 8 seed for the North Coast Section Division I playoffs.
The Mustangs will open up the postseason on Wednesday at No. 9 Castro Valley (17-6-1), which gets to host because it won the Hayward Area Athletic League title.
