Some Danville Streets Closed Sunday Amid Annual Devil Mountain Run
The police will begin rolling closures of streets and intersections after the race begins at 8 a.m.
DANVILLE, CA — Several streets in Danville will be closed Sunday due to the annual Devil Mountain Run.
Streets affected are:
For the 5K Route: Railroad Avenue, Hartz Avenue and Danville Boulevard;

For the 10K route: 10K Route: Railroad Avenue, San Ramon Valley Boulevard, Camino Ramon and Fostoria Way.
Sycamore Valley Road will be closed at Camino Ramon for short durations between 8 and 10 a.m. to provide a safe crossing for runners. Westbound Camino Tassajara will be diverted away from Sycamore Valley Road to Diablo Road during the closure. 10K runners will also use the Iron Horse trail and traffic control will be provided at key intersections on the trail.

Closure of Railroad Avenue will begin at 4 a.m., and other closures will occur at 7 a.m. and the police will begin rolling closures of streets and intersections after the race begins at 8 a.m. All closures along the route will reopen once the runners have passed and are expected to be open by 10 a.m. The downtown closures for the start/finish lines will reopen by noon.
