SRVUSD Seeks '7-11 Committee' Members To Review Surplus Property
The district is seeking residents to guide decisions on property, including its former Danville headquarters.

DANVILLE, CA — The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is seeking community volunteers to serve on its newly established 7-11 Committee, an advisory body that will help evaluate the district’s surplus real estate and make recommendations to the SRVUSD Board of Education regarding future uses.
Per the California Education Code, the committee must comprise between seven and 11 members. The district hopes the members will represent a diverse cross-section of the community, including:
- Parents or guardians of SRVUSD students
- Business community members
- Homeowners or renters
- Individuals with expertise in environmental impact, legal contracts, or land use
- Individuals representing the demographic and socioeconomic composition of the district
The committee will review relevant data, including enrollment projections and facility usage, to determine what constitutes “surplus space.” A major focus will be advising the board on the future of the district’s former administrative office at 699 Old Orchard Drive in Danville.
