Summer Writing Workshop for Kids

Writers’ Workshop is a hands-on program, which gives students choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to interact, while they write in a supportive risk-free environment.

We want every student to become an author. Maybe it won’t be the next great novel, but the student will develop confidence, motivation, and will write with more ease.

For our July 2015 session there is a selection of one-week classes, two-week classes, and three-week classes. There are morning classes and early-afternoon classes.

Topics available, depending on the grade level of the student, include Personal Narrative, Writing About Reading, Informational Writing, Review Writing, and Fiction.

All of our instructors are certified, experienced SRVUSD teachers.
