The distinctive red, white and blue drop-off box is available at the Danville Town Office, 510 La Gonda Way. Ballots can be dropped off Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The postage for vote-by-mail envelopes this election is 68 cents; however, the drop-off box service eliminates the need for those stamps. Ballots must be postmarked on or before November 8.
“We had an overwhelming response when the program was launched for the presidential primary in June, receiving hundreds and hundreds of ballots in just a few weeks,” said Danville City Clerk Marie Sunseri, “and we expect to see those numbers increase tremendously as wecontinue to offer this service to voters.”
