Town Embarks On Musical At Village Theatre

From The Town of Danville: The Town of Danville is proud to present the renowned musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Meet six mid-pubescents as they compete to become the spelling bee champion. “Life is Pandemonium” for these spellers as they express their hysterical woes and touching narratives through music all while hoping to never hear that dreadful “ding” that ends their chances at the title and possibly further them from their dreams. Six spellers enter, only one will leave as the champion. Come to the Village Theater on September 28, 29, 30 and October 4, 5, and 6 to find out who wins in this outrageous and heartwarming spelling bee.

This production features the talents of Zach Marshall, Micaela Groman, Alex Borja, Hayley Kennen, Kristen Torkildson, Emily Shea, Shauna Shoptaw, Noah Blechman, Tyrone Woodrow, Emler Strasser, and directed by Mike Kasin.
