The annual 5K is part of Danville's Walk-tober and promotes healthy living for seniors.

DANVILLE, CA — The town of Danville is inviting seniors in the community to come to Osage Station Park Oct. 20 to walk a 5K for their health.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., adults age 55 and older can register to walk the 5K, or whatever distance they are comfortable with, and then enjoy a barbecue lunch in the park, the town said in a post on its Facebook page.
"Participants will receive a long-sleeve Walk-tober t-shirt as well as lunch hot off the grill and a goodie bag," the post said.
