Traffic On I-680 Backed Up Near Danville After Crash, Police Say

DANVILLE, CA — Traffic through Danville along southbound I-680 was slow Friday afternoon after a car crash caused lane closures, authorities said.

Multiple cars were involved in a crash around 3:30 p.m. south of El Cerro Boulevard, the Danville Police Department reported in an alert. Multiple lanes were closed and the California Highway Patrol was on scene.

Police expected traffic on Danville surface roads to slow as traffic exited the freeway.
