Village Theatre Stage Talent On Revue In One Night Show

Music, comedy and improv will come together in a one night only revue show.

DANVILLE, CA - From the Village Theatre: Over the years, the Village Theatre has been home to many performing artists. Actors, dancers, musicians, and comedians of all ages have trod the boards of the Village Theatre stage, sharing their gifts with eager and appreciative audiences. On January 20, 2018, many of these performers will come together for a special one-time engagement: The Danville Showcase, a revue show that celebrates the diverse talent of the Danville performing arts community.

If you’ve been to a show at the Village Theatre recently, you may have met improv coach Mike Kasin working in the box office. Mike helped to form the Danville Diablos Improv Team at the Village Theatre last year. Since then, he has been looking for a way to bring all of the theatre groups together for a night of lighthearted entertainment. Under Mike’s leadership, The Danville Showcase was born.

The Danville Showcase will feature stand-up comedy from Liz Grant of the new Comedy with Liz Grant & Friends series, jazz music from vocalist Eve Marie Shahoian of The Jazz Room, youth musical theatre performances from Pam Greenan’s Danville Children’s Musical Theatre and Stephanie Lauck’s Teens on Broadway, and improv games from the Danville Diablos Improv Team.
