DANVILLE, CA — Danville resident Ahmad Faruqui said that four roads near his house around Greenbrook Drive were flooded and closed at various periods during the atmospheric river.

Faruqui also said he and his family had to spend several hours cleaning out their drains.

On the plus side, the rains brought snow to the mountains and turned the grass green.
