Workshop for Parents of GATE-identified Students

Building Character of Kindness and Integrity, or Am I Raising A Stressed Competitive Overachiever?

How to put perspective and joy back into our students’ (and our) lives Have you ever asked yourself:

  • Is my student obsessed with grades?
  • Are they involved with activities simply to “check it off” or add it to the resume?
  • Is their only motivation to do well is so they can get into a “good” college? Do you feel:
  • They have forgotten how to enjoy life?
  • There is a lack of compassion and empathy?
  • There is too much competition? Are you worried:
  • Your student is staying up too late?
  • Sacrificing too much for school or grades?
  • Y our student is just “doing” school? If any of these areas are a concern for you, this workshop is a must! We will examine, learn, model and practice how to put perspective and joy back into our parenting...and back into our students’ lives. Geared toward parents of GATE and high-achieving students, but open to all. Register here
