The Contra Costa Taxpayers Association is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting accountable, cost-effective, efficient government and opposing unnecessary taxes and spending. Founded in 1937, CoCoTax provides fiscal oversight of local government. They resist unwarranted taxes and fees, discriminatory regulations, ill-advised public expenditures, government secrecy, inefficiency, and waste. Alex will be talking “all things taxes” including the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors’ Salary Increase, the High Speed Rail & Water Projects.
