45 year old Woman stabbed by Male after She Offered him Gatorade

45 Year Old Woman Stabbed After Offering Man A Gatorade. The Suspect Has Been Arrested.

The incident occurred at 3700 Main Street in Shelltown.

The victim is 45 years old, she was walking down Main street. She was stabbed after she offered William Wilson, aged 59, a homeless male, Gatorade. Wilson was rummaging through a shopping cart at the time. Wilson then "spun from the shopping cart" and kicked the victim in the leg and then turned around and stabbed her in the right hip one time with a knife.

SDPD arrived at the scene at 8:26 PM and Wilson, the suspect, was still at the scene. SDPD has arrested him.

SDPD recovered the knife at the scene.

She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Watch Commander Robert Hemis with SDPD reports.
