• Grandview Beach access closed after bluff collapse (thecoastnews.com) — Beachgoers in Del Mar should know that nearby Grandview Beach in Encinitas is closed indefinitely after a recent bluff collapse near the access staircase, though no one was hurt. Officials warn of further instability within 300 feet and are directing visitors to use Beacons or Ponto while crews and state agencies assess and repair the area.
