AT&T Brings Faster Network to Del Mar Customers

Company Upgrades Local Cell Tower for Faster Wireless Service

AT&T has upgraded a cell tower on its 4G LTE network in Del Mar to give customers faster, more reliable wireless service. The change will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, they should see better service when they’re watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.

AT&T San Diego Vice President and General Manager Terry Stenzel says the company wants customers to have a great network experience. “They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network,” said Stenzel.

According to the company, these types of investments help California residents get the best possible experience over the AT&T network, whether at home, at work or on the go. Over the last 6 years, AT&T invested nearly $140 billion including investments in its wireless and wireline networks and acquisitions of wireless spectrum and operations.
