bBar Opens Doors with Healthy Juice and Meal Options
bBar is a vegan, orangic, raw, gluten and dairy free juice, smoothie and raw food bar.
bBar, an organic “vitality” bar open in Del Mar this week. The shop serves cold-pressed organic juices, smoothies, homemade soups and fresh salads, as well as a unique menu of cleanse programs.
The shop is seeking to change the way people think about their diets and overall health, its owner said.
“b Bar is the place you want to be,” owner Lisa Odenweller told Patch in September. “A place to be radiant, be kind, be healthy and be beaming. It’s not just about the food; it’s about how you think and how you experience life. It’s a juice bar, but it is unlike anything anyone has seen.”

Patch stopped by on Friday and tried the Sexy Mayan smoothie with sprouted almond milk, raw cacao, banana, date, maca, vanilla, cayenne, cinammon and nutmeg; and the Bootie Burn smoothie with whole grapefruit, pineapple, coconut nectar, chili flakes and ice. The Sexy Mayan was like a Mexican hot chocolate and is said to be good for energy, libido and a memory enhancer. The Bootie Burn is a anti-inflammatory, metabolic boost and fat burner.
