Bird Watching and Walk at the Lagoon

Led by John
Haddock, Buena Vista Audubon Society and Whelan Lake Bird Walk Leader

You see them and you hear them everywhere, but how many birds can
you identify? Birding can be daunting, especially for beginners. Get tips to
help you think like a naturalist! Enjoy a brief talk followed
by a hike to discover birds of the San Dieguito Lagoon and learn about the
local ecosystem. Meet at the San Andres Drive Interpretive Kiosk at the end of
the cul-de-sac.  Register at: http://sdrvc.org/bird-watching-walk/

This free family event
is held at the new Birdwing Open Air Classroom at the San Dieguito Lagoon. Take
the Via de la Valle east off CA-5. Turn right on San Andres Dr.  The dirt lot is on your left. Park all the
way at the end and take a short walk on the trail to the Birdwing Open Air
Classroom.
