Bobby D Presents hosted an action-packed six-bout fight card Friday night at the Del Mar Fairgrounds featuring some of San Diego’s toughest boxers.
Aaron “Gavilan” Garcia (11-3-2, 3KOs) knocked Cesar “Mayu” Garcia (8-14-1, 4KOs) of Ensenada, Mexico.
In the co-main event Khabir Suleymanov (15-3, 6KOs) took the bantamweight title against Michael Ruiz Jr. (9-3-1, 3KOs).
In lightweight, Leon Spinks III (5-0-1, 3KOs) beat Dominic Coca (8-3, 2KOs). And in flyweight, Jonathan “Johnny Boy” Quiroz (5-1, 1KO) of Oceanside, won over Jesus Sandoval (0-2).
