Carmel Valley-Based Legend3D Expected to Hire 150 Employees
Legend3D, which offers 3D conversion and colorization, is expected to increases its workforce to 400 employees.

Carmel Valley-based Legend3D is reportedly looking to hire more than 150 employees including artists in the next three months, according to a local business publication.
The Daily Transcript reported last week that Legend3D will increase its total workforce by 35 percent to 400 employees.
Legend3D, which was founded in 2001, touts itself as the largest U.S.-based 3D conversion studio. The studio has completed 3D conversions for Green Lantern, Hugo, Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, The Smurfs and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Its clients include DreamWorks Animation, Lionsgate, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Walt Disney Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, according to Legend3D’s web site.
