Come Celebrate A New Book For Autism Awareness Month At River House Books With Hope, Horses, And Kids And Renowned Children’s Author Sara Hoagland Hunter

In honor of National Autism Awareness Month, renowned children’s book author Sara Hoagland Hunter and Lori Tuttle, Executive Director of Hope, Horses, and Kids, the Salinas organization dedicated to teaching all children including those with special needs, the joy of riding, welcome all families, to a reading and signing of a new book. Every Turtle Counts is the tale of a rare sea turtle rescued by a child on the autism spectrum. Temple Grandin calls it, "a lovely book that will motivate children to seek the wonder and beauty of the natural world." Hear Lori and Sara’s hopes and dreams for those, like Sara’s niece and Lori’s students, diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and share your own!
