Del Mar Foundation's First Thursdays Coming Soon
The first First Thursday is right around the corner? Do you have your season subscription?
The Cultural Arts Committee of the Del Mar Foundation will kick off its 2012-13 First Thursdays season on Sept. 6 with The Ensemble, Yale Strom and Hot Pstromi performing Klezmer and Roma music.
We hope you purchased tickets, because the season is sold out.
All events in the 2012-13 season, besides the November concert at St. Peter's, will take place at the Powerhouse.

- Sept. 6 - The Ensemble, Yale Strom and Hot Pstromi - performing Klezmer and Roma music
- Oct. 4 - Jack Innis - tales of Torrey Pines hermit, religious cave artist and other San Diego legends
- Nov. 1 - Judy Huang - piano recital
- Dec. 6 - Eve Selis - Christmas unplugged
- Jan. 3, 2013 - Chase Morrin - jazz trio
- Feb. 7, 2013 - Martin Cooper - panel on social media
- March 7, 2013 - Laurence Juber - guitar medley by former Wings guitarist
- April 4, 2013 - Marion Ross - A Lovely Night: a dramatization of the life of Edna Saint Vincent Millay
- May 2, 2013 - Chunky Sanchez - Mexican music
- June 6, 2013 - Anne Marie Gabriele and Trevor Handy oboe and strings music
Each event starts with wine and cheese at 6:30 p.m., followed by the entertainment at 7 p.m.
In addition, the Del Mar Foundation will host a grand opening and open house for its new Del Mar Community Building at 225 9th St. from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
