Fatal Big-Rig Crash Reported On Northbound I-5

OCEANSIDE, CA -- Authorities are at the scene of a fatal big-rig crash alongside northbound Interstate 5, near Las Pulgas Road in the Camp Pendleton area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It's unclear if the death resulted from the crash, or might have stemmed from a medical emergency, the CHP
reports.

All lanes are clear, but traffic is heavy in the area due to the accident.
