Fish & Richardson Elevates Ryan O'Connor to Principal

Fish & Richardson has announced that Ryan O’Connor, based in the firm’s San Diego office, has been named a principal of the firm.

Ryan O’Connor is a member of Fish’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group and represents plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property litigation nationwide in a variety of technology areas, including life sciences, medical devices, specialty chemicals, Internet advertising, and computer hardware/software. He received his J.D. and LL.M. in intellectual property from the University of New Hampshire in 2007, and his B.S. in chemical engineering and B.A. in biochemistry from the University of Colorado in 2004.

The firm’s other new Intellectual Property Litigation Group principals are Brian Boyd, Corrin Drakulich and Aamir Kazi (Atlanta); Sheryl Garko (Boston); David Conrad and John Sanders (Dallas); Karolina Jesien (New York); Rebecca Grant (Silicon Valley); Rebecca Shult (Twin Cities); and Linhong Zhang (Washington, D.C.).

The new principals in the firm’s Patent Group are Tracy Hitt (Atlanta); and Dr. Joseph Koipally and Christina McDonough (Boston).

Fish and Richardson’s Southern California office is based in San Diego and has 40 attorneys. In total, the firm has 12 offices, 11 of which are located in the United States and one in Munich, Germany.
