Fish & Richardson Principal Olga May Receives 20016 TWIN Award

Award recognizes women leaders for outstanding tenacity and achievements

Fish & Richardson is pleased to announce that Olga May, a principal in the firm’s Southern California office based in San Diego, has been honored by the YWCA of San Diego with a 2016 Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) Award, one of the most prestigious awards given by YWCA nationwide.

The TWIN award recognizes women in a managerial, executive or leadership role for their outstanding tenacity and achievements. TWIN honorees are inducted into a longstanding, prestigious group that has honored women since 1980. May was among 16 remarkable female leaders honored at the annual In the Company of Women benefit luncheon on April 29, 2016

May’s practice emphasizes intellectual property litigation and business litigation.

“Olga is a tremendous asset to Fish, our clients and the entire community,” states Roger Denning, managing principal of the firm’s Southern California office. “She is a highly-regarded litigator and a hardworking volunteer who is dedicated to assisting the underserved communities in San Diego.”

May has been named one of San Diego Top Young Attorneys by the San Diego Daily Transcript. She also twice received a Distinguished Service Award from the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program and a multiple California State Bar Wiley W. Manuel Awards for Pro Bono Legal Services.

May received her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2003, and her B.A. in English Philology, summa cum laude, from Far Eastern University, Vladivostok, Russia in 1997.
